Our practice consists of four primary areas: Family Law, Criminal Defense, Elder Law, and Personal Injury. You can click the links below to read more about each area.
Additionally, each attorney takes specific types of cases in certain areas of Indiana. Melissa takes family law cases in Marion and Johnson counties, as well as sentence modifications in Marion County Superior Court 20. Brooke takes family law cases in Marion and the surrouding counties, as well as most sentence modifications and elder law cases. Zach takes CHINS cases, most criminal defense cases (including sentence modifications), elder law cases, and personal injury cases.
Family Law is the area of law that addresses domestic relations such as divorce, child custody, child support, and paternity.
Criminal Law covers everything from infractions and traffic violations to misdemeanors and major felonies. It also includes post-conviction matters, such as sentence modifications, PCRs, and appeals.
Elder Law addresses issues relating to aging and end-of-life matters, such as wills, powers of attorney, and estate planning.
